Thailand Awaits was born from the idea of helping visitors to Thailand to discover what makes us love this country so much. We aim to help people discover the beauty that can be found beyond the most popular spots and connect with the Thai culture and the people.

We wanted to create easy to follow travel planning articles that gave quality content, clear and easy to follow writing, and up-to-the-minute local information to help our readers gain the confidence to explore beyond the resorts and malls the country is famous for.

We encourage people to explore independently, use public transport, eat local food, discover wonderful small hotels and restaurants and think consciously about their footprint while exploring.
